Personalized workout plan(s) based on your assessment results.

Someone to keep you accountable, check in with, and cheer you on.

Peri-menopause information and coaching - including what to ask of your doctor, how peri-menopause affects muscle growth, the cardiorespiratory system and bone density, as well as managing mood swings, hot flashes, and other symptoms.

Direction on how to best create lean muscle mass based during this season of life while working with a slower metabolism.

Lifestyle goals of your choosing - together, we'll develop plans, timelines and execution.

An end date! We’ll keep you on track so that you see results and you’re not with us forever.

I'm in my 50s. What can I expect from KWPT?

You can expect the following:

Personalised functional assessment and postural assessment.

Personalized workout plan(s) based on your assessment results.

Someone to keep you accountable, check in with, and cheer you on.

Menopause information and coaching - including what to ask of your doctor, how menopause affects muscle growth, the cardiorespiratory system and bone density. 

We'll build muscle and bone density to sustain you through the next 50 years.

Direction on how to best create lean muscle mass based during this season of life and working with a slower metabolism, lack of collagen production, and more.

We’ll start to really focus on balance and mobility to create a foundation for your next seasons of life.

Lifestyle goals of your choosing - together, we'll develop plans, timelines and how to execute your goals. 

An end date! We’ll keep you on track so that you see results and you’re not with us forever. 

I'm in my 60s. What can I expect from KWPT?

You can expect the following:

Personalised functional assessment and postural assessment.

Personalized workout plan(s) based on your assessment results.

Someone to keep you accountable, check in with, and cheer you on.

We’ll work on balance and mobility, and we'll start to look at fall prevention. 

We'll discuss post-menopause and how that affects your system - including lean muscle mass, weight gain, and body distribution.

We'll discuss ways to build and maintain muscle, as well as protein intake and nutrition.

We'll work on hip flexibility and hip strengthening exercises. 

We'll work on lifestyle goals, including laying foundations to remain as independent as possible in your next seasons of life. 

An end date! We’ll keep you on track so that you see results and you’re not with us forever.

I'm in my 70s. What can I expect from KWPT?

You can expect the following:

Personalised functional assessment and postural assessment.

Personalized workout plan(s) based on your assessment results.

Someone to keep you accountable, check in with, and cheer you on.

We'll focus on fall prevention, balance and mobility, hip exercises, and range of motion exercises. We'll learn how to get off the floor in the case of a fall. 

We'll create and maintain independence through strength and movement.

We'll exercise to maintain lean muscle mass and bone density to help prevent osteoporosis/atrophy of muscles/injury.

If you are hiring us for your parents, we can also provide a safety check and provide you with feedback.

An end date! We’ll keep you on track so that you see results and you’re not with us forever.

I'm in my 80s+. What can I expect from KWPT?

You can expect the following:

Personalised functional assessment and postural assessment.

Personalized workout plan(s) based on your assessment results.

Someone to keep you accountable, check in with, and cheer you on.

We'll focus on fall prevention, balance and mobility, hip exercises, and range of motion exercises. We'll learn how to get off the floor in the case of a fall. 

We'll create and maintain independence through strength and movement.

We'll exercise to maintain lean muscle mass and bone density to help prevent muscle atrophy and injury.

If you are hiring us for your parents, we can also provide a safety check and provide you with feedback.

Walking assistance (if required).

Assistance with re-learning body movements after stroke, fall, etc.

Meet Lisa - Certified Personal Trainer Specialist

In 1993, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Revitalization Act marked a pivotal moment in medical research by requiring the inclusion of women in all NIH-funded clinical trials. Prior to this, women were routinely excluded from health studies, clinical trials, and drug research. Let that sink in—until 1993, women's health was largely overlooked in medical research in the United States. Meanwhile, in Canada, it wasn’t until 1997 that Health Canada introduced a guideline—just a recommendation—to include women in health studies and trials.

I'm a passionate health and wellness advocate in my mid-40s, dedicated to aging gracefully and living life to the fullest. As a Certified Personal Trainer with Canfitpro, I bring years of experience working with diverse groups, including individuals with disabilities, seniors, and children. Helping people set meaningful goals and achieve them is my true calling. I’m deeply passionate about this phase of life for women because I believe there isn’t enough conversation or understanding about what we truly go through.

I am CPR and First Aid Certified, a Canfitpro Certified Personal Training Specialist, an active member of the Canadian Menopause Society, and I am currently enhancing my skills by becoming a Certified Menopause Coach. I also absolutely adore sports and as such, I work for The Toronto Blue Jays during baseball season.
