Let's Talk About Backs, Bay-bee

Sore upper back? Work on your pecs.

Sore lower back? Work on your core.

Every muscle group has an opposite - one that picks up the slack for the other. It’s great for survival, but can lead to soreness and injury if you’ve been neglecting any part of yourself. These two - the core and the pecs - are the muscle groups that seem to be screaming for attention in almost everyone I see. Phone/desk hunch is real, as is the disdain for ab exercises. But these two areas are literally what keep you upright.

I’m a firm believer that confidence can get you farther than anything else - and it all starts with posture. When you stand tall, you show that you take care of yourself, believe in and value yourself - and you show that others should, too. While we always work on the entire body, working on these two muscle groups are the quickest way to see results and a great way to get started on your fitness journey.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      -Lisa
